Karachi, April 24: Sindh Governor Mr. Muhammad Zubair, today made a visit to the CPLC – Central Reporting Cell at Governor House to witness the working, utility and functionality of CPLC. Governor Sindh was welcomed by Chief CPLC Mr. Zubair Habib, Deputy Chiefs – CRC, Zonal Chiefs and members on his arrival at CPLC – CRC.
Governor Sindh was briefed by the Chief CPLC Sindh about its inception, the extensive use of upgraded software and services CPLC providing to citizens around the clock. He was also briefed about different projects of CPLC running across Sindh and in downtrodden areas of Karachi.
Impressed with the services rendered by Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) he appreciated the ability of CPLC which help Law Enforcing Agencies in apprehending the wanted criminals more effectively and efficiently. He also showed keen interest in Neighborhood care project, Shanakth project and welfare schools run by CPLC.
Governor Sindh was also taken to the Police Complaint Cell at CRC, Complaint Handling Department, IT Cell, Sketching unit and Call Centre where he was briefed that CPLC call center handles calls related to emergencies, enquiries and problem solving cases of the citizens which is accessible from all over Pakistan.
Chief CPLC Sindh Mr. Zubair Habib thanked Governor Sindh Mr. Muhammad Zubair for visiting CPLC’s Central Reporting Cell. The Governor Sindh appreciated how further CPLC simplified and extended its reach to the citizens in need of help and assistance. Governor Sindh was very optimistic in capacity building of CPLC team for combating crimes in the province. The visit ended on a good note and a firm commitment to work closely for the betterment of masses.
